Where most of the range commits to one technique across the whole surface, Aaina brings several together in distinct panels, each worked in a different tradition. One section carries dense magenta fill stitching in deep diagonal stripes. Another holds intricate gold zardozi-style scrollwork, the thread coiling in arabesque forms across the ground. A third is worked in autumn tones — brown, rust, and gold leaf sprigs scattered across the deep blue base, punctuated with tiny gold sequin coins on fine chain. Between each panel, a delicate gold chain lace border marks the transition, and a herringbone gold braid runs pole to pole.
The result is a bauble that rewards extended looking — there is always another detail, another technique, another decision made by the maker that you haven't noticed yet.
