Illuminated Bauble — Fabric Backed

A one-of-a-kind illuminated bauble, hand-finished in my Birmingham studio. This design features a clear resin shell over a fabric backing, lit softly from within by a warm LED filament.

This is one of the most personal pieces I make — perfect for using a fabric with real meaning, whether that's from a baby grow, a wedding dress, a loved one's clothing, or any fabric that means something to you. Each bauble is made to order and personalised with your chosen initial letter, so every single piece is genuinely one of a kind.

Please note: because the fabric sits behind clear resin, the resin saturates it slightly and deepens the colour, giving a "wet look" finish rather than the fabric's original dry appearance. This is a natural part of the process, not a fault — I'm happy to share examples if it helps you picture the result.

3. I'll hand-cast your bauble and let you know once it's ready

Care:

• Display away from direct sunlight or prolonged heat, as this can affect the resin finish over time
• Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth — avoid water or cleaning products
• Battery/power component is securely insulated by hand as standard
• Not intended as a children's toy — keep out of reach of young children due to small parts and battery component
• Store in original packaging when not on display

As each piece is handmade, very slight variations in resin clarity, fabric placement, or LED glow are normal and part of its uniqueness rather than a fault.

Every piece is handmade using carefully sourced reclaimed fabrics, meaning no two baubles are ever exactly the same.

Each bauble is individually handcrafted by Marisha in the UK using a slow, considered process.

Fabrics are carefully selected, hand-cut, shaped, and assembled around a lightweight core before being finished with trims and detailing.

Because reclaimed materials are used, subtle variations in colour, texture, and pattern are part of each bauble’s character — a reminder that this is not mass-produced décor, but a meaningful keepsake made by hand.
